چکیده

In this article, a novel visual dual compensation chamber loop heat pipe (DCCLHP) under acceleration conditions was experimentally investigated. The working fluid deionized water and the wick material sintered nickel powder. Visual windows were installed on both chambers (CCs) condenser in order to observe vapor liquid distribution. operating performance physical mechanism of proposed DCCLHP direction A B at different loads magnitudes analysed systematic manner. Direction refers which parallel axis evaporator CC without bayonet placed outer edge rotating arm. While is defined as perpendicular current study, load varies from 30 W 130 magnitude ranges 1 g 15 g. Experimental results revealed that: (i) larger load, higher temperature. Obviously waving vapor-liquid interface observed A. Bubbles generated CCs moves back forth during temperature oscillation 70 90 for case 13 B. (ii) Under B, presents lower thermal conductance. maximum 143.2 °C 5 conductance 1.70 W/K (iii) general, shows trend decreasing first then increasing with increase acceleration. Whereas an opposite behavior. transition acceleration, namely minimum temperature, However, large can result (iv) Intermittent spattering drops flow pattern that each load. Multiple segments phase alternately distribute stratified forms condenser.

Experimental Investigations on the Thermal Performance of a Vertical Closed Loop Pulsating Heat Pipe Using Binary Mixture of Fluids

This paper presents the experimental investigations conducted on a vertical closed loop pulsating heat pipe (VCLPHP) to evaluate the thermal performance. The values of thermal resistance and heat transfer coefficient obtained in the experimentation is used as evaluation parameters. The VCLPHP used has capillary tubes having an inner diameter of 2mm and outside diameter 3mm and bent into 5 turns...
